What Is a Homecoming Mum?
A Texas tradition, homecoming mums are large, decorative corsages worn to celebrate high school homecoming. They’re often worn by students during the school day and at the homecoming football game. Mums have grown over the years from simple flowers to full-on personalized masterpieces with ribbons, trinkets, lights, and more.
What’s Included in a Mum?
- Silk flower (usually a large chrysanthemum)
- Ribbons in school colors
- Name & grade of the student (and their date, if applicable)
- Bells, charms, or mascots
- Optional extras: lights, feathers, braids, glitter, personalized trinkets
Types of Mums:
- Single Mum – 1 flower (typically for underclassmen)
- Double Mum – 2 flowers (popular with juniors)
- Triple Mum or Bigger – 3+ flowers (often for seniors)
- Garter Mums – Worn on the arm, usually for guys
When to Order?
Order at least 2–3 weeks in advance of Homecoming to ensure availability and custom options! Rush orders may incur extra fees.

- Mini Mums/Garters: $25–40
- Singles: $50–75
- Doubles: $75–100
- Triples & Seniors: $100–200+
Add-ons (lights, custom names, plushies, etc.) may be extra.
